• What is a sourcing agent?

  A sourcing agent is an individual that works with both the buyer and the manufacturer by managing the production of customer designed and private label products. The job of a sourcing agent often takes on the role of a project manager during the manufacturing process. Why? Production is only one part of the process. International payments, factory and product inspections, raw material and finished part sourcing, shipping logistics and product storage logistics must also be managed.

• How do I know I’m getting the best price?

  Since Expedient Trade works in the best interest for you, the customer, we will locate price quotes from multiple sources (in different countries if necessary). In addition to comparing price, we will locate the best quality product (or factory) for a good price with a reasonable delivery time. Generally, quick delivery times and product quality are harder to achieve than lower prices. For this reason, we look for all three pieces when doing price comparisons.

• How do I purchase my products or pay for project fees?

  Customers pay Expedient Trade, LLC. Purchase orders & payments to international/domestic vendors, manufacturers and suppliers are then handled by Expedient Trade, LLC. We will also manage delivery logistics and provide you with quotes for freight, tariffs, customs fees and local delivery charges to your chosen destination. Expedient Trade will charge an upfront sourcing or manufactuirng project management fee. This fee can be added to the final cost of your purchased goods. The ordering process is very similar to buying products within the USA. However, lead times are generally longer (30-60+ days). New launch manufacturing projects often take longer (4 to 6 months or more).
